Sculptures
The first of many garden sculptures sit on either side of the river, on the way into the gallery, which lies on the ground floor of the Falling Water Lodge. Steel, copper, concrete, wood, glass and ceramics are all found on the palette of artist Sheena Wood. Her work is displayed in public and private galleries and collections internationally.
The garden is full of huge, mischievous sculptures. They are all designed and created by Sheena.
The large "Snail Trail” is a humorous way for the artist to introduce the gardener's bete noir, and slow the visitors down as they meander on, forgetting about time.
“The Pig in a Bath" is just one of many of the other surprises.
