Glorious sunshine graced our annual charity tea party and we managed to raise a total of 600 Euro.

This year it was in aid of RehabCare in Bantry, who benefitted from the garden entry fees all day and the afternoon cake sales.

Emer and Sinead from Rehabcare had baked an amazing selection of cakes, which delighted the visitors who enjoyed drinks and cake by the gently flowing river, with no wind or rain to spoil the day.

RehabCare Services based in Dromleigh South, Bantry, provide support services to a wide range of people within County Cork and predominantly West Cork. They work closely with many local organisations and facilities who provide services to the clients.

The current services include two Day Resource Centre Services, one for clients with physical and sensory disabilities and the other for clients with a mental health and or intellectual disability. Bantry Respite Service provides a three night four day respite to clients with a physical and sensory disability. The Home and Community Support Service supports clients to live independently within their own homes and with community integration in their own local communities in West Cork.

RehabCare Bantry provides support to over 100 clients between the ages of 18-65 years and is a non-profit organisation.
